6. Food: Chef Melba's Bistro (Hermosa Beach)

Chef Melba's Bistro has been a local favorite of mine for a while now. I think what I like about it most is that this small restaurant with delicious food reminds me of the type of bistros I would eat at in Europe. My favorite items on the menu are: the Roasted Eggplant Board (starter) & the Thai Coconut Broth (main).

9. Acupuncture/ Wellness: Left Coast Wellness and Acupuncture (Manhattan Beach)

I never thought I'd like acupuncture until I met Jessica. Now I go regularly to maintain overall wellness, digestive health, and relaxation. Jessica does a great job of always checking in to address specific areas of concern/ focus before each session and her soothing energy calms any fears that first timers may have.

10. Neuromuscular Massage: Steve Therapy (Torrance)

Steve's massages are very functional to address muscular pain or imbalances in the body. A great professional masseuse who understands how to bring the body back into alignment from postural imbalances, muscular overuse, etc., explains what muscle groups he is treating along the way, and often gives further recommendations for at-home maintenance.
